Dr. Sam Osmanagich (born June 1, 1960), aka Semir Osmanagić, Bosnian-American scientist, megalithic and pyramid sites researcher, internationally acclaimed speaker, and author of 18 books on ancient civilizations, and businessman. Sam Osmanagich wrote and narrated the 12-episode documentary "Search for Lost Civilization" for the state television of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FTVBiH) in 2007 and is the founder of Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation. He is best known for discovering an ancient pyramid complex in Visoko, Bosnia-Herzegovina, which many scientists claim are the largest and oldest man-made structures in the World. Since 2005, he has served as the project's principal investigator.

Awards & Recognition
On May 24, 2013, eminent U.S. Congresswoman Sheila Lee Jackson presented Dr. Sam Osmanagich with a United States Congressional Certificate of Recognition. "for continuous support in promoting cultural and economic independence for people new to the United States of America." Congresswoman Sheila Lee Jackson underlined that "Osmanagich's commitment to the community is truly worthy of respect, admiration, and commendation of the United States Congress."
Dr. Osmanagich was chosen to be a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences in Moscow. He was additionally elected as an honorary member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Art in Diaspora, Basel, Switzerland. He is also a member Archaeological Society of Alexandria, Egypt.
He received the "Amelia B. Edwards Award for his Pyramid Research" at the Global Pyramid Congress in Chicago, Illinois, in May 2016. At the PSSM Pyramid Congress held in Bangalore, India, in December 2016, he was presented with the "Pyramid Science Ratna" ("Diamond") award.
In Bosnia-Herzegovina, Dr. Sam Osmanagich was chosen twice as the "Man of the Year" by the most prominent daily, "Avaz," in 2021 and the weekly "San" in 2007. In 2006, he was also given the honorific title "First Honorable Citizen of the Town of Visoko."
